Dallas Arboretum Wedding Photography
If you missed the first part of Gabie and Patrick’s Dallas Arboretum Wedding Photography be sure to check it out, here, before you continue to the remarkable reception. The Dallas Arboretum is a spectacular place to have a reception, stunning floral arrangements everywhere! Accents of blues, creams, red and yellows colored the tables. Gabie even included individual seating cards with a different quote printed on each one. I thought this was a really nice touch and I can’t imagine the time it took for her to pick each quote and assign it to a person.
The dessert table look oh so yummy! Her cake was an elegant white icing with floral details and for Patrick, they opted for pie instead of the traditional grooms cake. Every detail of the reception was so eloquently planned and full of personal touches.
Formal portraits out of the way, the party really got started once couple arrived! They had a live band that was rocking as the couple started with their first dance and after the food had been served they each danced with their parents. We had toasts and Gabie’s sister had some really great stories and nice words for the couple. Patrick’s brother had some equally nice words for the two of them and there was not a dry eye in the house once the Father of the Bride finished talking. Afterward everyone was dancing, laughing and enjoying each other, it was such a beautiful sight! We had such a great time watching everyone dance the night away.
Time flew by so fast and before we knew it, it was time to clear the dance floor so that the couple could have their intimate last dance. It was such a special moment. The rest of the group gathered around to send them off, excited for the chance to throw rosemary at them.
You guys, it was such a fabulous time!! Thank you SO much for letting me capture your beautiful Dallas Arboretum Wedding Photography. You guys are amazing together and I wish you tons of luck and happiness in the future!!!! Xoxo
