Fort Worth Botanical Gardens Maternity Portraits
I absolutely love this session! I met up with this expecting couple in January for their Fort Worth Botanical Gardens maternity portraits. It was such a beautiful time of year for these gardens. I have never in my 10 years of shooting here seen it so alive, so colorful and SO vibrant. It really was just stunning, and when we found this beautiful red leafed tree I was just in heaven and HAD to use it!! (You’ll see below!)
So we started with a gender reveal – they brought the box and then opened it to see a grouping of pink balloons come out! It’s a girl!!! So exciting!!! They brought a sonogram photo that we used in some of the photos, with my favorite red tree! The colors from their clothing really blended so beautiful with the tree, I was so in love with it!
This beautiful expecting Momma changed into a flowy gown, that she made! I was flabbergasted that she made that!!! The train was so flowy and moved so beautiful in the wind when Dad tossed it. Seriously, best maternity gown ever for these Fort Worth Botanical Gardens maternity photos. We incorporated a pair of booties and a little crown that they brought from the baby’s nursery and then ended the session by the pond… I love her reflection bouncy off the water.
Thank you so much for trusting me with your growing belly! I am so excited for your sweet girl!
