Newborn photography

This is probably one of my favorite things to do.  There is so much love between everyone.  Doesn’t matter if it is baby number one or baby number 8- everyone is usually excited and happy and just in love.

I first met this family a couple of years ago for big brother’s 2 year birthday session. I instantly click with them – they are so laid back and relaxed about life and just effortlessly cool.  I fell in love with Finn and his blonde hair and blue eyes.  He wasn’t really sure about me, my big camera and having his photos taken.  He gave me some great smiles and then about 10 minutes later was over me. haha

Fast forward to booking this newborn photography session and Mom wasn’t really sure how he was going to react during this session. Especially with still getting used to having this new baby in the house.  I set them up for the first family shot and to our surprise Finn was ALL about it. He was laughing that big belly laugh.  Those blue eyes shining bright and big happy smiles.  He even gave baby bro a few hugs and kisses.  He did so great.

I can’t leave baby Rowan out… first of all his name.  I love it and kind of want to steal it 🙂

He slept for his entire session with one snack break. He didn’t fuss or have any issues with me moving him around or putting hats on him, Which obviously I didn’t do too much because that hair! there was no way we could cover that hair up.  At the end of the session he decided to open up those eyes and look around and even make some faces and show off his dimples.  I can’t wait to see him grow up and change – he is so handsome now I can’t wait to see how he looks and changes as he gets older.  Great job you guys! Your family is so beautiful and I am so thankful to be there to watch your boys grow!
